Welcome to Chill Out Golf. This website is to promote and advertise my fantastic two bedroom frontline apartment on the La Torre Golf Resort. On the website you will be able to browse through information about the property and resort. The property is available on all year rental and varies in price subject to the time of year you wish to book.
La Torre Golf Resort is a Polaris World development near Torre Pacheco in the Murcia region of South East Spain. The resort is approximately 15 minutes from Murcia City and 10 minutes from the beaches of the Mar Menor.
The airports of Alicante (40 mins) and San Javier (10mins) make the resort accessible from anywhere in the UK.
The 'Florida Style' resort of 1,400,000 square metres is built around a Nicklaus designed 18 hole golf course and will comprise of 2,634 homes, including villas, vownhouses and vpartments situated within an enclosed perimeter with 24 hour security.
This vast extension guarantees a large open space that increases the feeling of tranquility among beautifully landscaped gardens supported by EDSA - a leading US company in designing tourist complexes around the the world.
At the heart of La Torre you will find a spectacular Water Side Village. There will be a 200 room 5 star 'Crowne Plaza' Hotel, as well as many bars and restaurants and extensive leisure facilities. You will also be only a short distance away from the Polaris World Sports Centre, where you will find first class international sporting facilities for tennis, football, swimming and many other Sports Academies.
LOCATION
The Murcia Region is located right in the middle of the Mediterranean arch, between Valencia, Andalusia, and Castilla-La Mancha. It covers an area of 11,317 km2, ranking 9th in size among Spain´s Autonomous Regions.
Murcia, the capital, is open and dynamic, with excellent access to all other cities on Spain´s east coast, and highly interesting commercial activity. Its climate and the good-natured character of its people make it a cosy city, a virtue reflected in the constantly busy streets and plazas of its old quarters, where residents and visitors chat, take walks, savour delicious "tapas", or embark on one of its many cultural routes.
Centuries of history and numerous civilizations provide the Murcia Region with a rich historical and cultural heritage, with highly representative buildings such as the Cathedral and the Casino in the capital, the Roman Theatre in Cartagena, and the medieval castles of Lorca and Mula. GOLF AT LA TORRE
Designed by Nicklaus Design, the La Torre Golf Resort course offers 18 holes, par 68 and four sets of tees. Provisional distances (metres): (black) 5,350; (blue) 4,934; (white) 4,422; (red) 3,822. The course features over five hectares of sophisticated bunkers that separate the holes, creating strategic points which provide added value to the shots. Plus, a denser grass has been planted around the bunkers, creating the optimum wind shot effect. Three lakes will complete the exuberant landscape of this course.
Being one of the shorter courses, the La Torre Golf Resort is ideal for both average players and those with a high handicap. At the same time, La Torre Golf Resort preserves the challenge for experienced players who, teeing off from the furthest tee, will have to devise the appropriate strategy to cover the fairway with the perfect shot. Completed with all the perfect features for practice, La Torre Golf Resort is undoubtedly a mandatory stopover for golf players.

There is a fully stocked Supermarket in each resort, selling only the finest products, freshly baked bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables, meat etc. The supermarket is in the centres of La Torre Golf Resort, which occupies a surface about 1.000 square metres, and Mar Menor Golf Resort.

A buffet first course and a choice of a wide variety of meats, fish or pasta dishes for the second course. Back to the buffet for an exquisite range of desserts, and all this for only 29€ per person (not including drinks or coffee).
